Grant keys (or SIS keys) to groups

  1. On the User Manager main window, select the group name.
  2. Click File → Properties.
  3. In the Properties For Group dialog, click the Keys (or SIS Keys) tab.
  4. In the All Locks box, select the locks for which keys are to be granted.
    Note

    Locks are assigned to specific module parameters and parameter fields in the DeltaV Explorer.

  5. Do one of the following and click OK.
    • In the Plant Area Assignment dialog, select the plant areas for which the user is to have access.
    • In the Node Assignment dialog, select the plant areas for which the user is to have access.
    Note

    The default selection is Sitewide for either assignment.

  6. To apply the changes and exit the dialog, click OK.
    Note

    To apply the changes and not exit the Properties For Group dialog, click Apply.
