Auto Delete for the Batch Historian database

Use AutoDelete to delete batches, campaigns and event data from the Batch Historian database. Only batches and campaigns that have been archived can be deleted from the main database. You can delete unarchived event data.

AutoDelete creates a transaction log file for each record it deletes and can use a substantial amount of hard drive space during the initial delete operation. Before first enabling AutoDelete, archive and delete as many Event Chronicle records from the main Batch Historian database as possible.

Note

If the database contains an unarchived batch that is older than the setting in the Remove archived data older than field then only Alarms and Events older than the starttime of the oldest unarchived batch are deleted.
