Isolation
  • Each channel is optically isolated from the system and factory tested to 1500 VDC.
  • Channels 1, 2, 3, and 4 are isolated from channels 5, 6, 7, and 8 (verified by 1500 VDC factory test). Thermocouples attached to channels 1, 2, 3, and 4 are not electrically isolated and should be within ± 0.7 VDC of each other. Thermocouples attached to channels 5, 6, 7, and 8 are not electrically isolated and should be within ± 0.7 VDC of each other.
DC/50/60Hz Common Mode Rejection 120 dB
Accuracy over temperature range (linearized)
Heat dissipation 2.5 W
LocalBus Power Rating 12 VDC, 210 mA
Ambient Temperature -40 to 70°C
Mounting Assigned slot of I/O carrier
Note

For all thermocouple sensor types, when a function block is assigned to a thermocouple card, the XD_SCALE and the OUT_SCALE in the function block display the full scale range. When attempting to measure a temperature outside of the full scale range, the module's OUT parameter is clamped within the full scale range and the status of the value transitions to BAD beyond that range. That is, the block displays a value up to the full scale range and beyond that range the value does not change beyond the range limit (High or Low).

In the 25°C reference accuracy column in the following table, total error is made up of reading accuracy, CJC accuracy, and sensor accuracy.
