Fields in event records

All event records contain the following common fields that are displayed vertically in columns:

• Date/Time - stores the date and time of the event including the fractional second offset.
• Event Type -short descriptor for the event type.
• Category - a category word which provides users a way to group event records.
• Area - name of the plant area where the event occurred.
• Node - name of the node where the event was detected.

Other fields can be defined for event records. The following list describes the possible values for these fields:

• Module - name of the module associated with the event.
• Parameter - further identifies the event; usually describes a parameter.
• State - values for the fields in the State column record the current condition when the event was detected and vary depending upon the type of event record generated.
• Level - values for the fields in the Level column indicate the priority or severity of the event and vary depending upon the type of event record generated.
• Desc1 - values for the fields in the Desc1 column records user names for user-initiated events or other descriptive information and vary depending upon the type of event record generated.
• Desc2 - values for the fields in the Desc2 column contains the user-defined descriptor associated with alarm events, or other descriptive information depending upon the type of event record generated.
