To configure the source for event data, complete the following steps:
Click
File → Set Default Data
Servers to open the
Set Default Data Servers dialog.
In the
Events Data Server field on the
Event Chronicle tab:
Select a source for
event data from the drop-down list.
To connect to the
machine where you are running Process History View, select
localhost.
To connect to a remote
computer—for example, in a DeltaV Zones environment—you can enter the node name
in the
Events Data Server field explicitly.
To set the specified source as the default data source for event
data to be used whenever you start Process History View, enable the
Save as my Application Startup Data Server
option.
Click
OK to close the dialog and save your changes.
