These instructions assume that you are reconfiguring an existing pair of Application Stations that were not previously being used to run an OPC client connected to a redundant DeltaV OPC Data Access Server. Also assumed is that you've already made any necessary version upgrades to DeltaV software on the existing Application Stations. Alternative setup scenarios include setting up a new pair of Application Stations or setting up an existing partner Application Station for redundant DeltaV OPC DA Server.
If either Application Station contains a historical database, you should back up or export the historian data sets before proceeding.
