DeltaV Web Server is a collection of Internet products and technology that enables you to publish DCS information to an Internet browser. DeltaV Web Server runs under Internet Information Services (IIS) on a DeltaV Application Station. Client machines require only an Internet browser. Additional components are downloaded to the client machines as needed.
DeltaV Web Server was designed to work with Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer; the use of other browsers or operating systems is not supported.
Using a PC with an Internet browser you can view:
DeltaV Web Server pages are updated in real-time. DeltaV Web Server does not support DeltaV Operate scripting language. Script-based buttons and pop-ups as well as any custom scripts cannot be viewed.
Some versions of Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer do not automatically install the Java Virtual Machine software. You need this capability to view process graphics on client browsers. If you need to add Java Virtual Machine software to your computer, download the Java software from www.java.com. Install Java 8 (32bit) and add the localhost url to the Exception Site List using the Configure Java application.
