The DeltaV Event Chronicle Administration Tools enable you to create, delete, and export event history data sets. There are also tools that enable you to backup and restore the complete Event Chronicle database. To use a tool, click Tools on the menu bar and select the tool from the drop-down list or click the tool icon on the button bar. The Export and Delete tools require that you first select the data set or sets to be exported or deleted. Refer to Books Online for information about managing event history data sets.
Export Data Set -- exports a current or extended event history data set. How?

Create Extended History Data Sets -- creates an extended history data set in the primary storage area from a previously exported data set. How?
