When VerticalPLUS carriers are installed on separate DIN rails, carrier extender cables are used to extend LocalBus power. Extender cables connect to 1-wide VerticalPLUS carrier extenders. A standard installation uses one extender cable; however, dual extender cables can also be used.
The following figure shows a standard installation with one carrier extender cable used to extend power from the left to the right carriers.
