The binding process includes all DeltaV configuration actions necessary to prepare the system and a field device for testing and eventual deployment.
The DeltaV Device Commissioner application lists the devices that are ready for binding. Select devices to bind to connected I/O nodes and click Bind Devices.
DeltaV Device Commissioner can perform more of the binding process automatically if field devices, rather than CHARMs, are the sources of DSTs.
